When the wind turbine blade finishes its life in the wind energy sector our work begins. Taking full advantage, the components and structures are extracted from the wind turbine for its subsequent dismantling. Without wasting any material it is transferred using a cutting technique that allows simple and efficient transport.

The cutting of the material, generating almost no waste, is the central axis of the recycling process. Once the blades have been disassembled they are segmented into divided sections to facilitate handling, loading and transport. Thanks to a pioneering system in the market, the blades are cut without causing environmental impact. The few resulting wastes are sucked out automatically, reserving them for other utilities.

The main difference between our company and others lies in the complete recycling of wind blades. In contrast to the wind sector, at Ventos Metódicos Reciclagem LDA we guarantee that the waste undergoes an innovative recycling process that other countries do not have.

For example, in countries like the United States a high percentage of blades are buried creating a harmful impact on the environment.

In Europe the blades are crushed for subsequent combustion or are subjected to chemical processes in order to separate their materials

To avoid these situations, our company focuses on giving a second life to wind blades. We are backed by experience and innovative interest.

It is a non-invasive and completely sustainable process, whereby the impact of the carbon footprint is non-existent. With cuts and shapers, high-quality structures and certificates that demonstrate the material’s resistance and exclusivity,

Any waste from the manufacture of the new product also enjoys a second life: the small fragments and dust resulting from cutting is used for the manufacturing of structures in the maritime and agriculture industries. For example, the material can be used to create support structures for grape vines.
